Popis: The flow of fluids through porous media can be used as a viscometer. In this study, we investigate if typical rheometric experiments to measure the elasticity of a fluid can also be done in porous media flow. In this paper, the main focus lies on the step-strain test. For the set-up it is found that the time delay measured in porous media flow exceeds the one measured with a commercial rheometer.
