Popis: The effects of epinephrine, corticoids, and of a “short” fast on hepatic glycogen deposition, glycogen phosphorylase, and glucose-6-phosphatase activities of Salmo gairdneri were studied in vivo. The activity of glycogen phosphorylase was increased by epinephrine and by fasting and decreased by prednisolone. There was a correlation between the variations in glycogen deposition and enzyme activity. Only the fast modified the glucose-6-phosphatase activity.
