Popis: | Due to prior research suggesting that relational variables are related to the career development process, we sought to understand how maternal conflictual independence, paternal conflictual independence, attachment anxiety, and attachment avoidance influence the career decision status of Asian American undergraduate students ( N = 113). The findings of the regression analysis indicated that high levels of attachment anxiety were related to high levels of career indecision. The variables of maternal and paternal conflictual independence as well as attachment avoidance were not significantly associated with participants’ career indecision. Implications for career counseling practice are discussed. |
