Popis:	In this chapter, the current state of the literature regarding women’s appraisals of risk of sexual victimization is discussed with an emphasis on the situational and individual difference variables that appear to influence women’s ability to recognize risk. Further, the chapter highlights the methodological issues in the risk perception literature as well as the implications of the current literature on risk perception for programming efforts with women.
