Popis: The Narrowband Internet of Things (NB-IoT) is a secured version of Low Power Wide Area Networks (LPWANs) which provides wide coverage area, low power consumption device nearly 5 W so that the lifetime of the battery is increased more than ten years because it uses enhanced Discontinuous Reception (eDRX). In eDRX, uses two mode, namely sleep mode and active mode. If the information is not received at the receiver side, then the device comes under sleep mode; otherwise, it comes under active mode and also, the cost of the device is low. It is mainly used in deep coverage area like institutions, industry, smart home, smart agriculture, e-monitoring systems, etc. The main agenda of the paper is to enhance the coverage into maximum level when compared to existing coverage of the NB-IoT (20 dB) by using the techniques such as reducing the signal-to-noise ratio, increasing the number of repetitions, resource unit (RU) modification, and reducing the number of tones. Finally, the maximum coupling loss (MCL) is improved when compared to existing MCL of 164 dB in NB-IoT.
