Slice cell counting system has been widely applied for medical clinical field, which studies image smoothing, threshold segmentation, morphologic processing and cell information statistics based on digital image processing technology. This paper presents system design and realization of counting technology for slice cells. Cell microscopic image is smoothed by adopting mean filtering method at first. Then HIS threshold segmentation method is used for further analysis. There are five steps in morphologic processing including hole filling, erosion, thinning, center point modification and edge extraction to search cells. Cell information statistics including number, average radius and area is carried on finally. Test result shows that the method presented has good accuracy, quick speed and strong robustness for realtime application. |
