Popis: | The method for the acid hydrolysis of pennogenin glycosides with the aim of isolating the native aglycon has been optimized. The highest yield of pennogenin (49.5% of its amount in the plant material) is given by hydrolysis with 1 N H2SO4 in 96% ethanol at 100°C for 3 h. |
