Popis: | Aim: Euterpe oleracea Mart. (açaí) presents organic compounds with different pharmacological properties. The aim was to evaluate the bioactivity of the açaí extract on the virulence factors of two strains of Aspergillus fumigatus on abiotic surfaces. Methods: The adhrence and biofilm removal activities of was analyzed by adding 3 ml of the prepared dilutions of the tube extract containing the fragments with adhered fungal structures and formed biofilm. Results: The extract of Euterpe oleraceae Mart. presented adherence and biofilm removal properties of AFAR and AF4091 on abiotic surfaces. Conclusion: The strains were able to adhere and form biofilm on the abiotic surface and Euterpe oleracea Mart. was able to remove the adhered structures and biofilm on the abiotic surfaces. |
