Popis: A comparison of the work hardening behavior of commercial purity aluminum under monotonic and cyclic straining is presented. The material was cold rolled to different degrees and then submitted to two levels of tension/bending. This process leads to hardening of initially annealed material and to softening of previously rolled material, considering its hardness and tensile mechanical properties. Tensile elongation is usually increased, but may be impaired by surface damage caused by tension/bending.
