This draft provides a snapshot of the analysis plan for the project “Estimating the Impact of Academic Upper Secondary Education using Centrally Determined Variation in Local Supply” as January 20, 2022. The analysis conducted in this draft is based on the “right-hand side variables”, or the “first-stage regression” and is conducted prior to analyzing the impact on the long-term outcome variables. The purpose is to provide a time stamped draft on the state of the analysis plan as of this date. This is not a pure pre-analysis plan, because at the writing of this draft, I have access to all the data material that will be used in the project, including the data that will be used for the outcome variables (although they have not yet been added to the analysis). Nevertheless, it provides a snapshot of the intended plan for the project as of this date, and as such serves to mimics a pre-analysis plan to some extent. |
