This interview of U.S. Superintendent of Documents Wayne P. Kelley, Jr. was conducted on 25 January 1992 in San Antonio, Texas. Kelley discussed the Government Printing Office's plans for future production and distribution of governmental information and the roles for federal depository libraries. Particular emphasis was placed on subjects dealing with the changing information environment brought about by the widespread use of electronic media by most federal agencies. Discussion also centered around the Government Printing Office's recently promulgated strategic plan, GPO/2001: Vision for a New Millennium. |
