Popis:	The lack of general calculation methods is explained mainly by problems of mathematical nature associated with the fact that the curve of intersection of the median surfaces of the main pipe and the nozzle (branch) is, generally speaking, a spatial and not planar curve. Consequently, the simplifications of the theory of shallow shells which are justified if the ratio of the diameter of the nozzle to the diameter of the main pipe is small in comparison with unity are not applicable in the general case~
