Popis: Results:Three-dimensional RV volumes correlatedwell with CMR measures (EDV r= 0.87, p= 0.002; ESV r= 0.80, p= 0.01) but overestimated volumes with only modest agreement (EDV 43.4± 62.4mls; ESV 22.2± 39.2mls; RVEF 1.3± 13.1%). Interobserver variability for MRI was excellent (EDV −0.7± 6.8mls; ESV 3.6± 8.8mls; RVEF −2.6± 5.0%) but reduced for 3D TTE (EDV 29.4± 23.2mls; ESV 13.9± 19.3mls; RVEF 0.9± 10.2%). Conclusion: While there is a significant correlation between CMR and 3D TTE RV volumes, there is only modest agreement. Similarly, interobserver variability is higher for 3D RV volumetric analysis. Further work is required to improve accuracy and reproducibility of 3D RV echo in the post-cardiac transplant population. http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.hlc.2013.05.390
