Popis: | A fast algorithm to detect rectangles in aerial images is proposed. An initial gray-scale image is used as input for the algorithm. A contour image is obtained from it by modified edge detection scheme. The primitive lines are extracted in the contour image and joined into line segments by cluster analysis method. The line merging algorithm is developed and algorithm to detect rectangles from the extracted straight lines is suggested. The developed algorithm yields a good relation between computational time and quality of the result. |
