Popis: Problem-Based Learning, Activity Learning or Learning Centered Education are evolutionary interpretations of contextual-based learning, the outcome of the progressive education movement of the early 1900’s and its primary proponent John Dewey. For example, Learning Centered Education has been offered as one response to the criticisms by Porter and McKibbin (1988) of business school curricula. Differences between “skills obtained” by graduating seniors and those skills sought by recruiters have been documented and exist as a real area of concern (Newman, 1994).
