Popis: The results of experimental studies of the mechanical properties and structure of welded joints of aluminum 1915T alloy sheets obtained under various modes of laser welding are presented. The use of a fiber laser for welding increases the efficiency of the process. The use of filler wire in laser welding allows to adjust the composition of the weld metal and it’s structure, reduce the requirements for assembling the joint for welding and increase the mechanical properties of the joints. Welded joints of 1915T alloy with a strength coefficient of 0.83 are obtained when protecting the welding pool in the welding process with a mixture of argon and helium and using filler SvAMg63 wire with a diameter of 0.8 mm. The decisive effect of the method for preparing of the surface of blanks for welding on the presence of pores in the weld metal is shown.
