Popis: | In this paper, we study the properties of carbide coatings based on the WC–Co–Cr system which determine their operational reliability. The relationship of the porosity, hardness, and wear resistance indicators is analyzed, and their effect on the corrosion resistance and adhesion of the coating to the steel base is evaluated. The effect of coating porosity on wear resistance under conditions of friction on a loose abrasive is considered. On the basis of the results, additions to the list of controlled coating parameters, which can be used in regulatory documents establishing the order and frequency of quality control of products with a carbide surface layer deposited by high-speed gas-flame spraying, are proposed. |
