Bilayer Mg/Mn thin films prepared using thermal evaporation method. Annealed and annealed hydrogenated films have been characterized using UV‐Vis spectroscopy, Keithley electrometer and Van der Pauw method. The optical band gap was found to be increased due to hydrogenation and decrease with annealing time. The conductivity has been found to be decreased with hydrogen and increased with annealing time. The resistivity measurements show that hydrogen interacts with Mg/Mn bilayer according to the anionic model and relative resistivity increases with hydrogen pressure, due to the net effect of hydrogen absorption with pressure. |
