Popis: 1. The kinetics of the thermal dehydrogenation of ethylbenzene at 660–740° were investigated. 2. The yield of styrene on the ethylbenzene that reacted was 58% at 660° and 70–75% at 690dg and 720dg. 3. The activation energy for the dehydrogenation of ethylbenzene was calculated; the value obtained was 44 ±2 kcal/mole.
