Popis: | At present current-limiting reactors are widely used in order to limit levels of fault currents in electrical networks. Reactor being an element of power system must be able to operate reliably under nominal and fault conditions. Main attention in the paper is focused on calculation method of reactor, operating under nominal condition. A comprehensive approach to calculation of a design of dry type air core current-limiting reactors and winding made of a wire is proposed. Firstly, this approach consists in determine of winding scheme by calculation of inductance, and secondly in mathematical simulation of interconnected physical processes. Mathematical simulation is performed in a 2D axisymmetric formulation in ActiveField and Comsol Multiphysics commercial packages based on finite element method. The physical process features under nominal and fault conditions are considered. The analysis of the results obtained is given. |
