Popis: | EnglishIn this article, nominal metaphors related to COVID-19 are analyzed, referred to as covitaforas-19 (COVID-19 metaphors).This study is bibliographical,descriptive and analyticalin nature and its approach is qualitative. The objective is to encourage dialogue between those involved in theoretical information involving interaction theory and the metaphorical descriptions of COVID-19. It was found that interlocutors and readers are able to achieve plausible interpretations of COVID-19 metaphors through the identification, selection, and interaction betweenthe properties relevant to both the topic and the vehicle. The studied metaphors were found to provide coherent informationon COVID-19 and to be able to inspire a variety of sensations in both readers andinterlocutors portuguesNeste artigo as metaforas nominais que fazem alusao a COVID-19 sao analisadas, as quais sao denominadas covitaforas-19. A partir de um estudo bibliografico e qualitativo, o objetivo deste estudo foi relacionar a teoria interacionista e as descricoes metaforicas da COVID-19. Verificou-se que os ouvintes e os leitores conseguem alcancar interpretacoes plausiveis as covitaforas-19 atraves da identificacao, da selecao e da interacao das propriedades relevantes do topico e do veiculo. As metaforas estudadas transmitem informacoes coerentes sobre a COVID-19 e sao capazes de despertar diversas sensacoes nos ouvintes e nos leitores. |
