Popis: The MOMPA project (MOnitoring of ground Movements and Action Protocol) has been co-financed by the European Regio- nal Development Fund through the Interreg V-A Spain-France-Andorra programme (POCTEFA 2014-2020). The project addresses landslide risk management based on satellite radar interferometry (InSAR) technique. Starting from the interre- gional scale ground displacement map (covering around 4,000 km2) and the detected Active Deformation Areas (ADA), a local scale analysis (integrating InSAR and traditional methods) will be performed on a selection of the ADA with a high potential risk. Then, the InSAR monitoring technique will be integrated in an action protocol for Civil Protections. The study area of the project is in the Eastern Pyrenees, covering the whole Principality of Andorra, the Spanish areas of Alt Urgell and Cerdanya (Catalonia) and the French areas of Cerdanya-Capcir and Conflent (Occitanie). Both the medium-resolution, free data acquired by Sentinel-1, and the high-resolution data acquired by COSMO-SkyMed are used. A specific case study, of high interest for Andorra, is a landslide located in Andorra that could affect the only access to Andorra from Spain. In this case, artificial reflectors have been installed along the forested steep slope, to have InSAR measures to be integrated with the ongoing activities of traditional monitoring.
