Popis: | Bridged macrocyclic transition metal complexes using phthalocyanine (Pc), tetrabenzoporphyrine (TBP), 2,3-naphthalocyanine (2,3-Nc) and 2,3-tetranaphthaporphyrine (2,3-TNP) as macrocycles e.g. [PcM (L)] n with M = Fe, Ru, Co and L = e.g. pyz, dib, tz have been synthesized and their electrical properties were studied in detail. Regardless of the bridging ligand stable semiconducting compounds are formed after doping with iodine or electrochemical doping. The oxidation potentials of the used iron and cobalt macrocycles were determined by cyclic voltammetry. Due to their low oxidation potentials 2,3-NcFe and TNPFe form dib-bridged polymers which show good semiconducting properties caused already by air oxidation. The shish-kebab polymers [PcM (tz)] n , M = Fe, Ru exhibit good semiconducting properties up to 0.3 S/cm without additional external doping. Their conductivities are comparable to the iodine doped bridged metallomacrocycles [MacM (L)I y ] n . |
