An indirect gradient analysis on the bryophyte vegetation of the « magredi » in Friuli. – An indirect gradient analysis by principal components was carried out on the bryophyte vegetation of the meadows called « magredi » in Friuli. « Magredi » are pebbly medows of alluvial origin. From the phytosociological view-point « magredi » have been distinguished in three principal types: – Leontodonti berinii-Chondrilletum – Centaureo-Globularietum cordifoliae – Andropogonetum forojulense The results of this study confirm such typisation, in particular three specific combinations of mosses may be put in evidence: – Tortella inclinata and/or Tortella tortuosa, in the earliest stages of Centaureo-Globularietum cordifoliae. – Tortella inclinata, Pleurochaete squarrosa, Campylium chrysophyllum, Fissidens cristatus, in the most evolved stages of Centaureo-Globularietum cordifoliae and in Andropogonetum. – Rhytidium rugosum, Entodon orthocarpus, Thuidium abietinum, Mnium cuspidatum, Climacium dendroides, in no... |
