Popis: | In the present paper, the properties of carbonated steel slag-slaked lime (SS-SL) mixture, such as strength, drying shrinkage, water absorption, soundness, and durability were mainly investigated. Results indicate that after carbonation the strength of the SS-SL mixture increases by 3∼4 times, its drying shrinkage is significantly reduced, and its soundness and durability are greatly improved. Through X-ray diffraction (XRD), mercury-intrusion porosimetry (MIP), environmental scanning electron microscopy (ESEM), and differential thermal and thermogravimetric analysis (DTA/TG), the mechanism of the carbonated SS-SL mixture and its environmental effects were analyzed and discussed. |
