The goalkeeper plays an important role in ensuring possession of the ball and giving continuity to the game and in dynamic offensive transitions (Casal, Stone, Iván-Baragaño & Losada, 2023). Therefore, the relevance of this study is related to the emerging decision making of the goalkeeper and defensive line, in offensive and defensive actions. There is a lack of systematic summary related to the decision making of goalkeepers and footballers of the defensive sector in several male and female football levels in which this research might contribute to the construction of summarized knowledge in this specific domain. |
