Popis: | We performed blind recognition of optical coherence tomography (OCT) images of human urinary bladder for diagnostics of carcinoma and premalignant conditions. OCT images of 63 patients were acquired in vivo during cystoscopic examination. The malignant/premalignant conditions were differentiated from benign/reactive with 98% sensitivity and 72% specificity. OCT was also used for intraoperative monitoring of zones around the tumor for adequate resection (31 patients). OCT - guided planning of the resection margin and examination of the postoperative resection line after transurethral resection (TUR) was performed. |
