Popis: 1. Steel G20S2 has low sensitivity to rolling direction in the test temperature range (from 20 to −196°C), and it may be used in welded structures in which the anisotropy factor is close to one. 2. An increase in sulfur and phosphorus content in the ranges 0.006–0.18%S and 0.005–0.19%P leads to a reduction in ductility parameters δ, ψ, and it has little effect on fracture toughnessa0.25 and T50. 3. Phosphorus has a greater strengthening and embrittling effect compared with sulfur. 4. Identification of inclusions carried out from the surface of a microsection, fracture and foil has made it possible to establish that titanium inclusions have the main effect on properties.
