Paramagnetic absorption of pentavalent molybdenum in various symmetries of TiO2

Popis: Paramagnetic absorption of pentavalent molybdenum has been studied in TiO2 host lattice. The g was measured to be g∸ 1.917, g⊥ = 1.828 in anatase and gxx = 1.919, gyy = 1,822,gzz = 1.799 in rutile. The hyperfine tensor was measured to be A| = 7.4 × 10−3 cm−1, A⊥ not resolved in anatase and Axx = 6.5 × 10−3 cm−1, AYY = 2.5 × 10−3 cm−1, Azz = 3.2 × 10−3 cm−1 in ru tile. The spin lattice relaxation time was ≈10−9 sec in rutile.
