Popis: | The modeling and the simulation of triple junction solar cells had been addressed in earlier research works. But there are many new cells with parameters not released by the manufacturers yet. The aim of this paper is to simulate the behavior of a C3MJ+ triple-junction solar cell by determining its J-V characteristics curve and its P-V curve. The maximum voltage, current density and power will be defined. The performance of the triple junction cell is evaluated by analyzing the fill factor. The effects of different parameters such as temperature and concentration have been studied using Matlab/Simulink software. The simulation results were compared to the corresponding data sheet. Obtained simulation results show that the open circuit voltage and fill factor deviate negligibly by 0.22% and 1.4% respectively from the associated values reported in the data sheet. |
