Field Grading Material electrodeposition - challenges

Popis: To meet aeronautical criteria of compactness and power densities, future power electronics will need to withstand severe electrical constraint. Electrodeposition of high permittivity or non-linear resistive filler for electric field grading purpose was demonstrated to be a promising way to handle such constraints. However, this deposition method implies several physics and depends on many parameters, which makes it difficult to predict the resulting deposited layer. The present study proposes, based on an experimental approach, to clarify the phenomena/parameters involved in electrodeposition and their influence on the process.
