| Popis: | A complete symposium on the reheat cycle was presented to the Society at the Annual Meeting in 1948. At that time, representatives of the various manufacturers of boilers and turbines reviewed the history of reheat and described in some detail the designs then being offered. A considerable number of these units have been placed in operation since then. The object of this paper is to discuss the performance of several of these new units and to describe some of the special features of operation. |
