Popis: Neonatal maladjustment syndrome is one of the most common neonatal foal diseases. It affects foals in the first 48 hours of life and causes a variety of clinical signs including loss of affinity for the mare, poor suck reflex and seizures. Many foals recover fully with supportive care. This article discusses the aetiology, clinical signs and treatment of the condition.
