Popis:	The techniques aimed at the reconstruction of population structures from parish register in historical periods have widely developed in the last three decades. R. Lee [10] was the first to suggest a method known as the Inverse Projection (IP) to estimate the structural evolution of a population during a determined period of time, given the time series of births and deaths and the size and composition by age of the population at the first year of the studied period. R.McCaa has implemented IP in the easy-to-use programme Populate.
