Popis: This paper presents the design of a Frequency Conversion Assembly for downconversion of an input signal in the 6–18GHZ range to 750MHz IF with a bandwidth of 400MHz. The assembly is based on Hybrid technology in that it contains both packaged and bare-chip components. The paper presents a description of the design methodology. Fabrication and testing steps have also been outlined. Test results have been observed to be in good agreement with the design parameters. Gain with flatness 3±3dB was achieved throughout the band with input VSWR
