Popis:	The coupling of the upper and lower atmosphere and the problem of developing a unified numerical model of the Earth’s gaseous envelope is considered. The existing models of the upper and lower atmosphere are analyzed and specific models for use as parts of a future metamodels of Earth’s atmosphere are selected. A general algorithm for combining these models is proposed.
