Popis: | Josephson junctions play an important role in the advanced of THz radiation detection. Most of the Josephson detectors are integrated with a single planar antenna. To improve the detection sensitivity a Josephson junction serial antenna array is proposed. The antenna array combines high sensitivity, due to the increased total normal resistance on one hand, and due to the increase of the effective detection area on the other hand. The basic concept and simulations are presented in the current paper. |
