| Popis: | A patient with regional mycetoma of the arm is described in this report. The patient is unusual in that the organism isolated was aNocardiaspecies, but not one of the commonly reported pathogens, such asNocardia asteroides, Nocardia brasiliensis, Nocardia caviae, orNocardia madurae. The lesion developed at the site of a dog bite in a person with relative hypogammaglobulinemia. The methods of diagnosis and treatment are also discussed. |
