| Popis: | Specific and nonspecific cutaneous manifestations of benign and malignant plasma cell dyscrasias are discussed. Specific lesions, such as plasmacytomas, result from direct infiltration of the skin by plasma cells. Nonspecific lesions, such as amyloidosis, purpura, xanthomas, and angioedema, are caused by quantitative or immunologic effects of immunoglobulins. Histopathology and treatment are briefly reviewed. |
