Popis:	This chapter analyzed the driving automation systems that are used in mass-produced cars. On this basis, the current level of vehicle automation was defined in accordance with the SAE definition. The level of driving automation that should be achieved has been determined in order to be able to implement the Industry 4.0 concept. For owners of heavy-duty vehicle fleets, recommendations have been made that enable them to use autonomous transport before SAE Level-5 automation is reached. The most important elements of driving automation systems that must be refined by vehicle manufacturers have been indicated in order to reach the fourth level of SAE automation.
