Popis: | This paper proposes an evidence-based bottom-up method to calibrate the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning air-side loop of a building energy model. The building model is calibrated using Building Automation System trend data for each thermal zone with respect to the supply air flow rate, indoor air temperature, and cooling load. The calibration at the air-handling unit (AHU) level is based on the supply air flow rate leaving the AHU, and the cooling coil load. The calibration quality is evaluated by using graphical representation, statistical indices, and paired hypothesis testing. The results proved that once the calibration of supply air flow rate was achieved for most zones, the AHU model was calibrated with respect to supply air flow rate and cooling coil load, without any additional tuning through the trial-and-error method. |
