Popis: | This paper allows establishing the relationship between certain types of network features of four participatory instances (communes) in Venezuela with specific resistance repertoires. Whether the repertoire reaches contentious degrees will depend on how disputed the government party's (PSUV) monopoly on brokerage is, that is, how constrained is the active creation of intermediary central points. The type of network that will tend to more explicit levels of resistance is one in which the brokerage monopoly by the Estado-PSUV is most disputed by comuneros who function as bridges with relational institutional or non institutional settings. While a less disputed brokerage monopoly or, in other words, little brokering, will have an impact in more hidden repertoires of resistance. |
