Popis: Airborne sports include many kinds of recreational aviation sports, which allow people to fly with or without a power supply. Such sports include hot-air balloon, glider (glider, hangglider, and paraglider), ultralight plane, gyroplane (gyrocopter), and skydiving. Investigation of commercial air crashes involving numerous victims is one of the most important fields in forensic pathology and medicine, and such literature is sometimes available, emphasizing the process of personal identification. However, recreational sky-sports accidents and injuries are rarely described in detail in forensic textbooks, although the number of such accidents is not small. This chapter provides general information on airborne sports and the forensic aspects of related injuries.
