Popis:	The productive and technological potential that emerged during market transformations in the post-Soviet states is evaluated. The outlook for the transition of individual CIS countries to an innovative development model and the related problems of forming national innovation systems are analyzed. General regularities and national specifics of innovation strategies and mechanisms being implemented are demonstrated. The role of, and trends in, scientific and technological cooperation as a major factor in the shaping of dynamic economic systems under globalization are discussed.
