Popis: | The complex viscosity of a linear viscoelastic fluid is studied in terms of a generalized response function. Kramers‐Kronig relations and other pertinent properties of the generalized response function are derived. With the help of these properties, a model for the complex viscosity is proposed and the relation to Roscoe's model for a viscoelastic fluid is discussed as an example. |
