Popis: | Over 150 scientists from academia, industry, and government laboratories attended a workshop on Applications of Cold Neutron Spectroscopy in Chemistry, Biology, and Physics, which took place at NIST on June 4–5, 1991. The purpose of the meeting was to explore the new opportunities which will be available when six new high-resolution inelastic scattering spectrometers are completed at the Cold Neutron Research Facility (CNRF). These instruments are among the 15 experimental stations soon to be operating (1991–1993) in the CNRF guide hall which adjoins the NIST research reactor. The attendees represented 55 U.S. universities, industrial and government laboratories, and included 13 representatives from foreign countries. |
