Popis:	The history of the endovascular approach to brain aneurysms is described, from the early pioneers to the most recent advances. The evolution of the concepts and of the technical materials that led to the recent dramatic increase of the utilization of the endovascular approach is also depicted. Limitations of current techniques and the necessity of further research is mentioned.
