Popis: 1. 1. Peptide fingerprints of tryptic digests of the globins of 6 turtle species representing 4 families and 1 suborder were compared. 2. 2. Results are consistent enough to suggest possible relations among the species studied. 3. 3. Globins of Clemmys and Cuora are most alike (differing in 9 components). Those of Lepidochelys and Eretmochelys are alike having only 16 differing components. Dermochelys has globins similar to cheloniids. Trionyx is distinct from the other 5 species.
