In the amendment to the code of civil procedure and some other acts of July 4, 2019, the Polish legislator has carried out a comprehensive reform of proceedings in civil matters. The legislator introduced a number of changes to the provisions of the Code of Civil Procedure. Extensive modification of procedural law is aimed at simplifying, streamlining and accelerating the hearing of cases before common courts. The introduced regulation was classified within the following groups: preparation of the case for examination, prevention of abuse of procedural law, evidence, justification of judgments and appeal proceedings, proceedings in commercial cases, other separate proceedings, general streamlining of proceedings, court costs, introductory provisions and other provisions. |
