Popis: ESR and ENDOR results are presented which shows that in reaction centers of Rhodopseudomoras viridis containing BChl b, the reducing electron is not shared between BChl b and BPh b on the ESR time scale but, rather, that I/sup -/ exhibits the characteristics of a radical analogous to the monomeric anion of either BChl b or BPh b in vitro.
